Founder & CIO, Oasis Management
Seth H. Fischer is the founder and Chief Investment Officer of Oasis Management, an investment manager headquartered in Hong Kong with offices in Japan and the U.S. that invests globally across capital structures. Mr. Fischer founded Oasis in 2002 following a seven-year career at Highbridge Capital Management, where he managed the firm’s Asian investment portfolio.
A proponent of corporate governance reforms across Asia, he is a frequent speaker on economic and investment panels. Oasis is a signatory to Stewardship Codes in Japan, Korea and Hong Kong, a Sustaining Donor to the Board Director Training Institute of Japan, as well as a member of the Japan Corporate Governance Network, Asia Corporate Governance Association, International Corporate Governance Network, Council of Institutional Investors, Standards Board for Alternative Investments, Alternative Investment Management Association, Japan Stewardship Initiative, and Japan’s 30% Club.
Prior to joining Highbridge, Mr. Fischer served in the Israel Defense Forces. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Yeshiva University. He is a Board Member of the Karen Leung Foundation and the Carmel School in Hong Kong, Vice Chairman of the Ohel Leah Synagogue Management Committee in Hong Kong, and co-founder of the Aumann-Fischer Center for Law, Economics, and Public Policy at Hebrew University opened in 2022.

Co-Founder and COO, EnSphere Investment Management
Xinyu Hong is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of EnSphere, overseeing business development, risk management, compliance, and operations. She previously served as COO of GCI Asset Management, HK Limited, from 2018 until its spinout to launch EnSphere in 2026. With over a decade of experience across equity, credit, and macro derivatives on both buy and sell sides, she has held roles at Goldman Sachs Japan in Credit Structuring and Marketing and at Deutsche Securities Japan in Tokyo.
Ms. Hong holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Keio University.

Managing Director, Misaki Capital
Masayoshi Yoshihara is Managing Director at Misaki Capital, a Tokyo-based engagement investment firm.
He began his career at Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), where he worked on economic policy, energy policy, and crisis management during the Fukushima nuclear disaster. He then joined A.T. Kearney as a management consultant, advising clients across the public and private sectors on strategy and organizational transformation. At Misaki Capital, he leads both the investment process — from research to investment decisions — and engagement with portfolio companies.
Masayoshi holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Tokyo, an MBA from the University of Cambridge, and an MPA from Columbia University.

Chairman, Asia, Albourne Partners (Asia) Ltd
Richard is the Chairman, Asia of Albourne Partners. He joined the firm in September 2004 to set up and head their Asian region providing both research on Asian based managers and consulting services to investors. Albourne Partners Limited is a leading UK based independent alternative investment advisory firm representing over 330 clients with an estimate of over $700bn allocated to alternatives. Albourne Partners Limited was established in 1994 and has over 600 employees in 11 offices around the world.
Richard spent the previous eleven years with UBS AG in Hong Kong and Singapore, in various senior positions managing equity proprietary trading, convertible bonds and prime brokerage in the region. Prior to this, he was with Baring Securities in London and Tokyo, specialising in arbitrage trading and risk management.
Richard graduated in Computer Science from Manchester University, UK in 1981 and was admitted as a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales in 1985.

Executive Director, SBAI
Thomas Deinet was appointed Executive Director of the SBAI (previously known as the HFSB) in 2008. In 2007, Thomas joined the working group to project manage the development of practice standards proposed by 14 leading international alternative investment managers that led to the establishment of the SBAI.
Prior to joining the SBAI, he was a senior manager at Oliver Wyman, where he extensively worked with major financial institutions in Europe covering asset management as well as corporate and investment banking. Thomas also worked as an analyst in energy trading for a major commodities trading firm.
Thomas is a graduate of the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, with a major in industrial engineering and holds an MSc from Purdue University, USA. Thomas is a CFA charterholder.
