Kerry Hugh-Jones joined Cheyne SVC in September 2017 as Co-Managing Partner. She has over 20 years of experience in global financial markets with roles ranging from credit research and portfolio management to strategic development for alternative asset management businesses.
Prior to joining Cheyne SVC, she was Head of Alternatives at BlueBay Asset Management, responsible for driving the strategy and direction of BlueBay’s alternatives business, with a particular focus on distressed and opportunistic credit strategies. Previously, she was head of strategy and business development for Eclectica Asset Management, a fundamental global macro manager. Prior to that, she spent four years at Mediobanca S.p.A. and ten years at JPMorgan in various roles within Credit & Rates markets, including six years as a senior credit analyst in JPMorgan’s Global Credit Portfolio Group, having started her career in debt restructuring in the Special Credits team.
She holds a MA in Philosophy from University College London and a BA in Philosophy from The College of William & Mary in Virginia.
Partner and Senior Portfolio Analyst, Albourne Partners
Yut Wah is a Partner and Senior Portfolio Analyst, Albourne Partners Singapore. She joined Albourne’s Singapore office as a Portfolio Research Analyst in 2008.
Prior to that, Yut Wah was a banker with Citicorp Investment Bank’s Global Wealth Management Group. From 2004 to 2007, she spent three years in Citibank China’s Shanghai office in the Global Transaction Services Group as a banker for foreign multinational corporations operating in China. Prior to that, she was with the Enterprise banking Group of the Overseas Chinese Banking Corporation (Singapore). Yut Wah started her career in the Treasury Department of Citibank N.A. (Singapore) in 1997, moving on thereafter to the Global Relationship Banking and Commercial Banking Groups.
Yut Wah graduated from the University of Warwick (UK) with BSc. in Economics in 1997. She attained the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation in 2011.
Head of APAC, Orchard Global
Mr. Tan is Head of Asia Pacific of Orchard Global. He also serves as Chief Executive of Orchard Global Asset Management (S) Pte Ltd, the firm’s Asia affiliate and heads the firm’s legal structuring group globally.
Prior to joining Orchard Global, Mr. Tan held various origination, structuring, and distribution leadership roles. He established and led the fund solutions group in the securities division at Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong as well as the structured funds business at HSBC Global Markets in London, before co-heading the same group in Asia. Mr. Tan began his career at Allen & Overy LLP in London, specializing in structured finance and derivatives law.
Mr. Tan has an MA in Jurisprudence from Trinity College, University of Oxford, and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School. He is a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales and an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.

Mr. Wong joined PAG in 2023 as a managing director responsible for Group investor relations in the Asia Pacific region.
He formerly spent 18 years with AllianceBernstein, Franklin Templeton, Oaktree Capital, and Leucadia Asset Management in related functions.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.
Portfolio Manager, Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)
Weng Hong is a Portfolio Manager at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), where he oversees investments in Hedge Funds and Public Equities for the university’s Endowment Fund. His responsibilities include Portfolio Construction, Manager Selection and Tactical Asset Allocation, with an aim to generate excess returns for the long-term growth and resilience of the institution’s investment portfolio.
Prior to his role at SUSS, Weng Hong served as an Investment Manager at a Singapore Government Statutory Board, where he focused on Public Assets and Strategic Asset Allocation. His earlier career also included positions as a Relationship Manager with several financial institutions.

Gita Advani is an Operational Due Diligence (ODD) Senior Analyst in Albourne Partners Singapore. She conducts ODD reviews on alternative asset managers across APAC. She started her career 12 years ago in audit in the Big 4.
She graduated from the University of Southern California and is a CPA and a CAIA designation holder.

Divya Thakur leads the firm’s investment management practice in Singapore. She has an extensive background in advising both established and first-time fund sponsors and managers in the formation of a broad range of investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, real estate funds, and other structured fund products. She is also highly skilled in advising institutional investors on their fund investments. Her practice includes counseling clients on carried interest plans, co-investment arrangements, structuring business and ongoing operational, management, and compliance issues.
Divya co-chairs the firm’s India Initiative. Divya is qualified in New York and England and Wales and brings her deep knowledge of international fund offerings and market terms to her representation of an array of clients, including sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, investment banks, multinational companies, and US, European, and Asian companies. She has long represented sponsors and managers focused on emerging markets, including in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
Chief Executive Officer, Innocap Investment Management Inc.
As Chief Executive Officer, François is responsible for establishing and delivering the overall vision, mission and growth strategy of Innocap. Francois drives Innocap’s vision of enhancing the way value is created for the communities represented by our clients while maintaining Innocap’s position as the industry-leading technology-enabled Dedicated Managed Account platform.
During his 25 years in the investment industry, François has held various senior functions in capital markets, wealth and asset management in Toronto, Montreal and London. Notably, in his role as Head of the Financial Products Group at National Bank of Canada, he was responsible for engineering and distribution of structured derivative-based investments globally. François is the recipient of Bishop’s University Top 10 Under 10 award, a standing YPO member (and past chapter board member), and has contributed or been featured in Bloomberg, the Globe and Mail, Derivatives Week, Structured Products Magazine as well as a featured speaker at various conferences in North America, London, Paris, Zurich, Abu Dhabi and Singapore. Since 2014 François has been a board member and active contributor to the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation, one of the largest sick kids hospitals and research centers in North America.

Managing Director , Blackstone
Charmaine Chin is a Managing Director in Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing (BXMA) and the Head of Asia Manager Selection. Ms. Chin is based in Singapore and leads BXMA’s investment activities across Asia.
Before joining Blackstone, Ms. Chin worked at Fullerton Fund Management in Singapore where she was involved in managing a global portfolio of hedge funds, private equity and private credit funds. She also led due diligence for co-investments and late-stage growth investments. Prior to Fullerton, Ms. Chin spent 12 years as a Partner and Managing Director at K2 Advisors in New York, part of Franklin Templeton’s Alternatives division. There she oversaw all of K2’s investments in Asia, as well as all investments globally in credit and event-driven strategies. Prior to K2, Ms. Chin worked at Goldman Sachs in the Special Situations Group, focused on opportunistic investing across equities and credit.
Ms. Chin began her career in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs in New York and Hong Kong. Ms. Chin received a BA from Harvard University, where she graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
Executive Director, SBAI
Thomas Deinet was appointed Executive Director of the SBAI (previously known as the HFSB) in 2008. In 2007, Thomas joined the working group to project manage the development of practice standards proposed by 14 leading international alternative investment managers that led to the establishment of the SBAI.
Prior to joining the SBAI, he was a senior manager at Oliver Wyman, where he extensively worked with major financial institutions in Europe covering asset management as well as corporate and investment banking. Thomas also worked as an analyst in energy trading for a major commodities trading firm.
Thomas is a graduate of the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, with a major in industrial engineering and holds an MSc from Purdue University, USA. Thomas is a CFA charterholder.
Head of Total Portfolio Policy & Allocation , GIC
Chiam Swee Chiang is Head of Total Portfolio Policy & Allocation (TPPA) at GIC in the Economics and Investment Strategy department. He leads TPPA to formulate long-term and medium-term investment policies for the GIC Total Portfolio, and drive optimal capital allocation across beta and alpha through rigorous portfolio research and analysis.
Swee Chiang has been at GIC since 2008. Prior to his current role, he was a portfolio manager in the Real Return Program, responsible for researching and developing alternative investment models and strategies for GIC. Prior to this role, he worked in the Risk and Performance Management Department and managed risk for multi-asset strategies.
Swee Chiang is a member of the AIMA Global Investor Board and the EDHEC Infra & Private Assets Advisory Board. He has a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
MD & Regional Head of Asia Pacific , CDPQ
Leong Wai Leng is responsible for the regional management of CDPQ Global in Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, she coordinates all CDPQ activities in the region and ensures optimal positioning and outreach. CDPQ has offices in Singapore, New Delhi, Shanghai and Sydney in the Asia Pacific region.
Ms. Leong has over 30 years of experience in the finance and banking sectors, including 13 years in China, where she built a commercial banking business from the ground up. She has an extensive business network in China and in South-East Asia, including in Singapore. Over the course of her career, she has worked in both the buy and sell sides of the industry, in developed and developing financial markets.
Before joining CDPQ in 2018 as Managing Director, Strategic Partnerships, Asia, Ms. Leong was Managing Director and Head of Business Management Unit at the Bank of Singapore, a wholly owned subsidiary of OCBC Bank. Prior to that, she was the Chairman and CEO of OCBC Bank (China). In 2010, she became the first banker from a non-Japanese Asian bank to win a Gold Magnolia Award, one of the highest recognitions from the Shanghai government. Perhaps most noteworthy was the fact it was the Chinese regulatory body, CBRC (Central Banking Regulatory Commission), that nominated her for this award.
Ms. Leong was also Managing Director and Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking at HSBC China. Previously, she held senior positions at multinational corporations such as Philips Electronics China Group, as well as at JP Morgan Bank and at Citibank, in Singapore.
Group Head of Investment Strategy and Solutions, AIA Group Limited
Mr Persaud is Head of Investment Strategy and Solutions for the AIA Group where he is responsible for Strategic and Tactical Asset Allocation, Derivative Strategies, Private Market Strategy, New Investment Product Development, Portfolio Construction Oversight and Quantitative Investments.
Prior to joining AIA, Trevor worked with a number of large insurers, asset managers and other asset owners in the region as an independent consultant. He left Standard Chartered Bank at the end of 2017, where he was responsible for their Commercial and Institutional Banking business (Financial Markets, Transaction Banking and Corporate Finance) for Insurers across Asia.
Mr Persaud is a trusted investment advisor to many of the leading Insurers and Asset Owners in the region and has a distinguished 28 year career spanning Banking, Asset Management, Insurance and Consulting globally with the last 14 years in Asia. Prior to Standard Chartered, Mr Persaud held senior investment roles at Stradegi (a specialist investment consultancy), Russell Investments (leading their business in ASEAN, HK and Taiwan, focused on multi asset outcome oriented investments, strategic and tactical asset allocation and investment governance advisory for asset owners and in particular insurance companies), Prudential, Insight and Schroders (where he had been responsible for their Investment Risk and Performance Globally) and MSCI.
Mr Persaud is a Chartered Management Accountant, has been conferred the Distinguished Fellow designation by the Institute of Banking and Finance in Singapore and is a past Chair of the Global Investment Performance Standards Executive committee. He is also an advisor to the Investment Management Association of Singapore and Chair of their Risk and Performance committee and is actively involved in industry efforts to promote and further innovation, best practice and transparency in Investment management.

CEO & CRO, Astignes Capital
Mr. Boyd is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Risk Officer of Astignes Capital. In his role as CEO, Mr. Boyd sets the strategic direction of the Firm and oversees the day today running of the business. In his role as CRO, he is responsible for the Firm’s risk management framework and its implementation. Mr. Boyd worked at Alphadyne Asia for six years, most recently as CRO Asia and before that as a Portfolio Manager.
Prior to joining Alphadyne Asia, Mr. Boyd co-managed all fixed income and commodity risk at Artradis Capital in Singapore. Before returning to Asia to join Atradis Capital in 2009, Mr. Boyd was Head of Local Markets Trading, Structuring and Risk Management for the Americas at RBS and ABN AMRO based in New York. In that capacity, he also served as Chairman on trading, management and ALM committees for the Americas. Prior to that, Mr. Boyd was a Partner at Teleos Capital as the Head of Emerging Markets. Mr. Boyd entered banking in 1995 when he joined Bankers Trust Proprietary Trading based in Singapore for 5 years. Prior to that, he was an Economist at the World Bank in Washington DC and the Treasury Department in Australia.
He holds a Bachelor of Business in Economics from Charles Darwin University and a Masters in Economics from Columbia University. Mr. Boyd serves on Boards related to Astignes Funds and the Advisory Board of StashAway – a Singapore-based fintech company.
Senior VP & Quantitative Research Analyst, PIMCO
Mr. Dienemann is a senior vice president and quantitative research analyst in the client solutions and analytics group in the Singapore office. He previously held account management roles in the Munich and Sydney offices with a focus on customized portfolio analyses and solutions for institutional and wealth management clients.
Prior to joining PIMCO in 2015, Mr. Dienemann was with PwC and Commerzbank in Frankfurt.
He has 13 years of investment experience and holds a Ph.D. in finance from the University of New South Wales, a master's degree in finance from IE Business School, and an undergraduate degree from Cooperative State University Mannheim.

Nicole joined Bridgewater in 2009 and is based in Bridgewater’s Singapore office serving as Managing Director and advisor to many of Bridgewater’s strategic relationships in Asia Pacific across a broad range of institutional clients including sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, superannuation, and corporate pension plans.
Over the course of her tenure, she has worked with a range of the firm’s largest global investors in Asia, the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Before transitioning into her current role, Nicole worked as a Director in APAC and prior to that a Marketing Associate, where she focused on business development with the firm’s US Public Pension Plan and Canadian clients.
Board Director, Pacific Pension & Investment Institute
Kevin is a Board Director of the Pacific Pension & Investment Institute (PPI), a Co-opted Investment Committee Member for the National University of Singapore (NUS) Board of Trustees, an Investment Committee member for the Tote Board, and a Resource Member for the Investment Committee of the Singapore Labour Foundation. He was most recently Executive Managing Director, and the Chief Investment Strategist and Head of Singapore for Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo). He led the Total Fund Investment Strategy department in articulating and driving AIMCo’s total portfolio and total fund strategy, execution and management, as well as AIMCo’s approach to sustainability and sustainable investing. Kevin also led AIMCo’s geographic expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. He was the Global Cross-Asset Investment member of the four-person Executive Investment Office, alongside the Global Head of Public Markets, the Global Head of Private Markets, and the Chief Executive Officer. Kevin was also a voting member of the Tactical Risk Allocation Committee, and the Management Investment Committee.
Kevin was formerly Managing Director and Director of the Economics & Investment Strategy department of GIC, where he articulated GIC’s strategic outlook, determined asset exposures and benchmarks, and optimized capital allocation for the entire GIC Portfolio. Kevin previously managed the External Public Investments & Credit portfolio at OPTrust in Toronto, where he and his team pioneered the allocation to multi-asset funds and hedge funds, and advanced the transformation of the Trust’s investment policies and portfolio. Earlier in his career, Kevin was Vice President and Portfolio Manager in GIC’s External Managers department in New York overseeing North American equity funds and hedge funds. Before that, he had been Vice President in GIC’s Investment Policy & Strategy department in Singapore analyzing asset classes and strategies, refining optimization techniques, and advising the government on its long-term investment goals and risks.
Kevin holds degrees in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and in Management Science (Finance) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a Stanford Executive Program (SEP) alumnus, and is also a CFA charter holder.
MD, Asia Region Head, Albourne Partners
Debra Ng is a Partner and Shareholder of Albourne Partners. She joined Albourne as Portfolio Analyst in 2006 and heads the Albourne Singapore office.
Prior to that Debra was Regional Business Director of Strategy and business development at LFC Management Ltd (Singapore), (an Asian FoHF), for two years. Debra worked for four years at Citigroup Asset Management (Singapore) as Director, Institutional Advisory from 2000. Before that she worked at Capital International (Singapore) as Assistant Vice-President with Portfolio Management support and institutional client relationship management responsibilities from 1994 to 2000. Debra started her career as an Investment Analyst covering the Technology, EMS, Autos and small conglomerate sectors at DBS Investment Research (Singapore) from 1991 to 1994.
Debra graduated from the California State University, Los Angeles (USA) with a BSc. Business Administration in Finance with Economics in 1990. She attained the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation in 2006.
